Kaonashi's professionalism, talent and dedication resulted in several residencies on the infamous island of Koh Phangan, Thailand in legendary venues such as the Backyard (where Sven Väth used to come play for fun), Anahata, Fubar, Freeway, Sandcastle and Seaboard. Early 2016 saw a move to Africa with a three month residency at five star resort Paradis Plage; beats on a new beach.
Other venues he has played shaman at include the original full moon party at The Rock, Guy's Bar, Eden, Jungle Experience (SE Asia's biggest party) and Loi Lay, amongst many others. He has been on lineups with the likes of Marco Bailey, Phil Hartnoll (a good friend!), Graham Gold, Andre Crom, Lee Van Dowski. There was also the time Jay Shepheard came and commented on his mixing, and Dan Snaith of Caribou enjoyed the remix Kaonashi made of his track "Bees" in 2013.
2021 sees a move to Mexico, and a residency at Amaïte Hotel on Isla Holbox. Elsewhere around the world he's mixed at the beautiful Klub 20/44 Belgrade, Serbia; Calumet Yerevan, Armenia, 9/11 and Bling! midsummer festival in Estonia (with live percussion) and Notte Rosa festival Cesenatico, Italy.
